NEW DELHI: Maruti Suzuki on Wednesday announced its voluntary recall for Wagon-R manufactured between 15 November 2018 – 15 October 2019 and Baleno manufactured between 8 January 2019- 4 November 2019 over faulty fuel pumps.
The recall is supposed to cover 1,34,885 units of both these models.
Maruti Suzuki will inspect 55,663 units of WagonR along with 78,222 units of Baleno for a possible issue with the fuel pump. The faulty fuel pumps will be replaced free of cost.
Owners of the suspected vehicles will be contacted by Maruti Suzuki dealers as a part of the recall programme.
The customers with the suspected vehicles can visit the ‘Imp Customer Info’ on the Maruti Suzuki website to confirm if their vehicle needs any attention.
