While the opinion of global experts remains divided, Dr Manoj is pretty straightforward with the fact that one should exercise in isolation, as much as possible to avoid wearing masks while working out.
“One should not do any rigorous exercises while wearing face masks (especially the N-95 medical masks). Even three-layered masks should be avoided while working out or doing any strenuous activity. ”
“You may use three-layered masks while going for a light walk, but nothing beyond that. Your best bet is to do all rigorous exercises in isolation,” he concluded.
