NEW DELHI: Honda Cars India on Wednesday launched the 5th generation City, starting at Rs 10.89 lakh (ex-showroom) through its digital platform.
Honda City will compete with the likes of Hyundai Verna, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz and Skoda Rapid and other C-segment sedans.
The Honda City will be available in 3 variants- V, VX and ZX.

The 5th gen Honda City is powered by a 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine. This engine offers a maximum power of 121 PS and a peak torque of 145 Nm. The petrol variant is claimed to give a fuel efficiency of 17.8 kmpl.

The diesel-based alternative is powered by a 1.5-litre i-DTEC engine which delivers a maximum power of 100PS and offers a peak torque of 200 Nm. The diesel variant is claimed to offer a fuel efficiency of 24.1 kmpl.
Inspired by the Japanese Katana blade, the 2020 City follows a continuity of lights with a sharp shoulder line tha accentuates its premium look and length. The character line runs right from the headlamp all the way to the tail lamp defining its shape, giving the car a precise and aerodynamic impression.
