3. Name of Projects: CRP on Molecular Breeding “Molecular breeding for improvement of tolerance to biotic and abiotic stresses, yield and quality traits in crops (Wheat)-Funded by ICAR

4. Emoluments (Fixed per month): Rs. 31000 + 24% HRA and Rs 35000+ 24% HRA from 3rd year (As per ICAR memorandum F. No. Ag.Edn.6/27/2 014HRD dated 30-8-2019

5. Essential: Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/Biotechnology with 4/5 years’ bachelor’s degree. Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent or Ph.D. in any of above disciplines (As per ICAR memorandum F. No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 13.07.2015 and F. No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 09.10.2015)

6. Desirable: Experience in molecular markers, field phenotyping and handling of field crop.

5. Essential: Essential: Post graduate degree in basic science (Life Sciences) or graduate/ post graduate degree in professional courses (Life Sciences including Agricultural Sciences) selected through a process described through any one of the following: a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE. b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE. DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR. IIT, IISc, IISER etc. (As per DST Office Memorandum No. SR/S9/Z-08/2018, Dated:30- 01-2019)
