Applications from Indian nationals are invited for Project Appointment under the following project. Appointment shall be on contractual basis with consolidated pay, renewable yearly or upto the duration of the project, whichever is earlier

1. Posts: Project Scientist

2. Consolidated fellowship / Pay-slab: Rs.35,400-37,900-40,400-43,600- 46,800-50,000/- p.m. plus HRA @ 24%

3. Qualifications: Applicant must: 1. have earned their Ph. D. degree from a top engineering research program in India or overseas (must have defended their thesis prior to the interview, and be available to join immediately) in the field of optoelectronic devices/detectors/backplane fabrication, or closely allied fields. 2. inclusive of Ph. D. degree, have at least 5 years of experience in an intensive devices program with extensive hands on device fabrication and equipment maintenance experience; 3. have the following required experimental skills: sputtering, thermal annealing, Xray diffraction and measurement of detector or PV efficiencies; 4. have the following desirable experimental skills: FESEM and ellipsometry; 5. be conversant with design tools: Cadence/Mentor Graphics/Tanner with at least one of Verilog/ VHDL; 6. be comfortable with writing data analysis / reduction code: Python/ MatLab / Fortran 95/C++ etc; 7. show clear evidence of physical reasoning, experimental data analysis skills, and the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team; 8. have at least 10 journal articles in peer-reviewed and respectable journals in the field (published or accepted); 9. have international conference experience (in India or overseas); and 10. have mentorship experience with junior students.
