BENGALURU: Department of Pre-University Education, Karnataka announced the results of the second year Pre-University Course (PUC) board exams on Tuesday, July 14, 2020. The candidates who appeared for the Karnataka PUC II March 2020 exams are advised to visit the official website of the Board to check and download their result online.

11.50 am: This year pass percentage of 2nd PUC recorded at 61.80%, which shows an increase of 0.7% from last year. In 2019, 61.73 per cent students were declared successful.

11.45 am: The students who appeared for the 2nd PUC exam can follow the steps given below to check and download their result online:

11.30 am: Karnataka II PU results are now available on karresults.nic.in. Even though the results were expected to be declared only by 11.30am, students were able to access their results on the website almost an hour earlier. Minister for primary and secondary education S Suresh Kumar will hold the press conference to officially announce the results at 11.30 am.

11.20 am: Last year, the Karnataka second PU results 2019 was released on Monday, April 15, in which 61.73 per cent students were declared successful. Girls had outdone boys with 68.24% pass percentage, whereas boys had scored 55.29%.

11.13 am: The press conference to release the Karnataka 2nd PUC results 2020 is scheduled to begin at 11.30 am today. The results will be uploaded online @ karresults.nic.in at noon.

When, where and how to check Karnataka 2nd PUC Results 2020

10.40 am: 1st PUC Supplementary examination, which was supposed to take place from July 16 to July 27 in the colleges itself, has been cancelled. The education department has decided to promote the students to the next class. But those who skipped the examination will not be given any general promotion.

10.30 am: If any student is unable to take the exam owing to ill-health or other valid reasons, she/he will be given another chance before the commencement of mid-term of II PU classes.

10.20 am: The I PU supplementary exams scheduled from July 16-27 stand cancelled. Around 60,000 students were supposed to take them. Those who do not have attendance shortage will be deemed pass and automatically admitted to II PU.

10.10 am: Karnataka is the first state in south India to announce the PUC result. The results of 6.75 lakh students who appeared for the 2nd PUC exam will be announced today after 11.30 am.

8.40 am: Karnataka Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar said on Monday announced that the students who appeared for all the papers in the First PU Examination but had failed in some subjects will be given general promotion.

8.20 am: Initially, the Karnataka 2nd PUC results 2020 was likely to be announced in the fourth week of July month, the sudden declaration of a 9-day lockdown in Bengaluru district from Wednesday (July 15) has made the state education department to advance the Karnataka 2nd PUC result date to July 14.
